To easily distinguish the zones within the office, Vtec Group’s Supaslat 5 feature ceiling with a stained Redwood finish was used to define the relaxing and collaborative atmosphere of a breakout area.
For this project, Vtec worked closely with the client to fit their budget, and we offered value-engineered options for the raft to ensure that they stayed within budget without compromising the stunning design.
To work with the current ceiling grid which could not be removed, we made the ceiling feature exactly to size to ensure it fitted accurately and made sure the raft was positioned correctly in the ceiling opening. This also meant that none of the existing services were affected, and these were concealed from view by our Black Integrated Acoustic Textile.
Due to the specific fitting arrangements and locations, Vtec Group provided full technical support and drawings to make this an easy install!
