Our square metal tiles are extremely popular, and we can produce larger sizes upon request. Please contact us if you require bespoke sizing.

Approximate weights are as follows:

  • Copper = 4.5 kg per m²
  • Brass = 4.3 kg per m²
  • Zinc = 4 kg per m²
  • Steel = 8 kg per m²

Tiles are typically manufactured to a thickness of either 0.5 or 1 mm:

  • Copper = 0.5 mm
  • Brass = 0.5 mm
  • Zinc = 0.5 mm
  • Steel = 1 mm

Please contact us if you are enquiring about a bespoke tile size or external application, as thicknesses may vary in these circumstances.

Our metal panels are widely used on internal applications and we do also supply metal for external use.

Please provide us with the dimensions of the area you wish to cover and our Technical Department can produce a panel layout scheme to quantify this, and also to assist your installers on site.

Available in a range of metal finishes – copper, brass, zinc and steel. The tiles are coated with a durable polyurethane coating, which gives them UV resistance and anti-corrosion properties.

The Vtec Metal panel tile range comprises 12 stunning styles in brass, copper, zinc and steel. The tiles are hand finished to obtain unique patina and colour variations, designed to create stunning visuals. Our most popular finish is Gloss (although they are also available in Matt should you prefer).

No, we provide detailed instructions to the installers and offer our support to ensure your panels are fitted successfully on your project.

Full instructions are provided. Put simply, you should ensure that the surface the tiles are being attached to are sound and free from dust, grease or any substance that may impede adhesion. Measure the wall, mark up and apply tiles to the wall using adhesive. Due to the nature of the panels, care must be taken not to press too hard to avoid the risk of denting or scratching. Protective film should be removed to complete the process.

Yes – very! Metal panels are easy and quick to install, perfect to get your interior up and functioning very quickly.

Yes. Take care to protect the tiles and ideally use a cold cutting tool, e.g. electric metal shears, a circular saw with correct cold cutting blade to suit the type of metal of the tiles.

Although the panels are fine in a moist environment, they should not be exposed to regular or direct water (e.g. showers, splashbacks). Please contact our technical department regarding your application.

Metal tiles may benefit from light dusting, taking care not to scratch the tile surface. They can be wiped with a damp cloth.

They can be cleaned with water, and if required add a weak soap solution. Do not use detergent or abrasive cleaners.

Metal panels have Inherent Fire Resistance (Class A).

Yes, we are happy to send out samples for finish approval. Please give us a call to talk through your requirements so we can send you a bespoke sample pack.

Always wear correct PPE when handling or working with building materials.

  • Store tiles flat, removed from outer packaging, ideally 48 hours prior to installation.
  • Take care when handling tiles to avoid damaging them, especially at corners and edges.
  • Be careful not to press too hard when adhering to the wall to avoid causing any creases or kinks.
  • Always wear protective gloves when handling.
